Christmas Countdown Swap

This year it is my first Christmas as a Stampin Up Demonstrator and part of the Artful Inkers ( local demos). We had a Countdown swap this year, which consisted of making 24 items and wrapping them up just simple or we could give something little like chocolates (mmmmm) and wrap them up fancy. We had to put the date that we where assigned onto the package so everyone knew that on that day you open that gift :) Everyday through the month of Dec we get to open a gift, so fun although I must admit as soon as I got home that night I opened everything :0 hehe Sorry ladies I couldn't help myself I'm kinda like a kid that way.

Anyways here is what my gift was, a mini composite book made into a Holiday Planner where you can keep your lists of what you need to get still or even write down the recipes you will need for Xmas baking. I had fun making these and will def be making more in the future.

Here they are after I wrapped them, I decided just to wrap them in tissue paper with a ribbon and a tag with the date they could open them on.

Paper: SU Jolly Holiday DP, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Confetti White

Punches: SU Snowflake, and Decorative Label

Ink: SU Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive

Embellishments: SU Glimmer Brads ( Old Olive and Real Red ), and Cranberry grosgrain ribbon from Walmart

Cricut Cart: Number 6 was cut out at 1 1/2" using Plantin School Book
I used a sponge to go around to edge of the books and the tags. Also I used a black fine tip pen to do the dashes around the label punches. I didn't have a stamp that said what I wanted so I printed out onto very vanilla from my computer and then punched them out to make label on cover :)
Hope the ladies like them with they open them up today !!!

(or opened them up like me that night wink wink)

Thanks xoxo

Take Care

Amanda
